Lata Sharma is someone who has always been proud to have been born and reared in Northern Ireland, albeit throughout the dark days of the Troubles! A love letter to the people of Northern Ireland, "Sausage Sodas and Onion Bhajis", is her story told as a sassy wee Indian teenage girl, who had to learn on the hoof how to duck and dive her way around the sectarianism, the racism, and not forgetting of course the cultural clashes she faced from within her Indian home!
